Knightia Fossil Fish

£19.99

The Knightia fish lived 35 to 55 million years ago in the Eocene Epoch. It lived in North America and Asia, and our fossils come from Wyoming. It was a fresh water fish, living in lakes and rivers. It was similar to the sarin for the herring.

Occasionally, they could be up to 25 cm long, but most are below 15 cm. Our specimens  are high quality unique examples of this fossil, which is a key part of any fossil collection.

The fossils come packaged in a black presentation and storage box, with a Junior Geo "fun facts" leaflet about fossils and minerals.

Being unique, natural specimens, the fossils come in a variety of sizes as illustrated.
